Foundation Grants $130,000 to FAS for Study of Cementious Structural Insulated Panels (CSIPs) in Multi-Story Buildings

Ontario, California, July 1, 2006 – The Federation of American Scientists (FAS), with an industry advisory panel assembled by the Charles Pankow Foundation and the Architectural Engineering Institute of the American Society of Construction Engineers, will test the use of cementitious structural insulated panels (CSIPs) in multi-level construction. The study is being funded by the Charles Pankow Foundation.

Foundation Awards $200,000 Construction Research Grant for Improved Design of Reinforced Concrete Link Beams For Seismic Zones

Ontario, California, May 26, 2006 – Researchers at the University of California, Los Angeles Henry
Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science are the recipient of a $200,000 research grant to

$135,000 research grant from the Foundation for Integrated Services (FIS), an affiliate of the Design

Grantmakers Announce $150,000 Construction Research Project in the Field of Integrated Project Delivery
