This project is Phase 1 of a multi-phase effort to provide a robust, open source, publicly available material embodied carbon database, easily sorted and statistically compared that enables design and construction teams to integrate embodied carbon into design and procurement decisions. This database can be used to create credible embodied carbon project budgets and consistently track embodied carbon targets during construction.
Phase 1: Functional EC3 Database and Planner released for Beta users of concrete, reinforcing steel, structural steel and gypsum.
